I moved to Reno a few months ago, and the parks there are soo sick, now, moving back to Spokane and seeing the plans for the new park I think its going to be tight, cause I like to skate.

Terrence B.
I will support it by skating it as much as I can, and I wish after the project is over that there could be plans for a new one on the southhill.

Skating is a non-destructive, fun, activity for teens who might otherwise spend their time in less desirable ways.

Justin Sherman
It's obvious skaters had their hand in designing this park and the construction crew is currently doing a great job.

Because kids need a place to skate at the north of spokane.

I believe that any type of infrastructure geared towards the youth is a great thing! It helps build community solidarity!

This park will put Spokane on the map. Prepare to be barged upon!

I live on five mile in north spokane, i think the park will be a great thing because finally the city puts in a good park. we were supposed to get a park on five mile, it took about three years and all they did was pave an area ond bring in three crappy ramps. it was poorly designed and when it rains it washes dirt across the pavemment. locals got mad and brought their own ramps only for the county to come and take them away. im glad to see the city doing something but i wish the county would do the same. so if you see something in the works be sure to support it because it doesnt bring in people that will cause trouble it just keeps them from damaging private property by skateboarding on it.
