I know how hard it is to find spots in the Northwest. A lot of
the street terrain is weathered and chunky making it difficult
to skate. The majority of the store and shopping centers are owned
and operated by people who have nothing better to do but put there
two sense into everything and end up harrassing skaters. Kids
up there need a place were they can just let go and flow. This
park is designed by the best. It looks like something I would
never leave. If I had the means I would move there just for that.

Because of the growing population of business and nowhere for
kids to ride motorcycles or other recreational things, now they
have a place to go and have fun!!

It's about time we got a decent skatepark in Spokane, something
challenging with flow!

New parks are a good idea. They give kids in that area a safe
place to play and can bring new excitement to a community. Hillyard
skatepark was a great idea and me and my amigos can't wait to
skate it.

Every town needs a skateboard park next to every baseball field,
basketball court and public drinking fountain without a question.
I share my enthusiasm with people of all ages and eagerly anticipate
the opening of the Hillyard park. In addition I would recommend
any other towns / neighborhoods to please contact Grindline/Dreamland
or Airspeed as skateboard parks need to be created AND designed
by skateboarders... just like how Golf Courses are created by
golfing professionals.

Spokane needs a updated skateboard park, the one under the freeway
is very outdated and dirty, this new one is very appreciated by
the skating community in the inland pacific northwest.
